You’ll leave each class with 2–3 focused exercises, video supports, and emailed class handouts.
What “Paws-itive” Means Here
‘Positive does not equal Permissive’
We concentrate on teaching dogs good behaviors that effectively replace undesirable ones, such as encouraging them to sit calmly instead of jumping up. Our training approach relies on positive reinforcement methods, using rewards like treats, toys, and petting to motivate and encourage learning. No harsh corrections or corrective devices are used in any Warman Dog Training services.

Puppy Level 1
Start your pup off right with calm, upbeat sessions that build confidence and manners. We use calm, gentle handling, fun games that teach focus, recall, and loose-leash skills. Every class ends with a Question Period. Homework support videos and emailed handouts are provided after every class.
Teen & Adult Private Training
Turn everyday chaos into easy routines. Book a Private Training Session. One to One consultation will cover any concerns you have regarding behavior, manners, impulse control, leash reactivity, and then practice how to keep progress going at home and on walks. Homework and video support are included.
In-Home Puppy Head Start
Is your puppy too young to attend group puppy classes? Before your puppy has two sets of vaccines, we come to you. Together we’ll get your puppy settled into it’s new home. Teach calming behaviors. Set up sleep, potty, and feeding routines, introduce safe socialization, and prevent problem habits from taking hold.
Private Training (1:1)
Get focused coaching for your top goals—at our space or in your home. We’ll assess, demonstrate, and practice with you, then send a concise recap so you know exactly what to do next. Perfect for jumping, barking, leash pulling, or building calm confidence.
Leash & Recall Series
Make walks enjoyable and your recall dependable. We use pattern games, long-line practice, and distraction setups so your dog learns to check in and come when called. Practical, upbeat sessions you’ll use every day.
Reactive Dog Support
For dogs reactive on leash, lunging & barking, or pulling. You’ll learn calming, safe decompression strategies, without the use of choke or pinch collars. Step-by-step exercises that turn reactivity into workable focus. Follow homework and video support.
Our Process
How We Train
We keep things simple and doable. First, we talk about your goals and what you would like to focus on during our training session. What “Success” looks like for your family. From there, we pick 2-3main–behaviors to start with and map out short, upbeat practice sessions—using positive rewards, games, and praise to motivate your dog.
During each visit, Jen will coach you and your dog through clear steps using marker words and food or toy rewards. You’ll get a concise recap with homework you can actually fit into your week, plus easy ways to measure progress (fewer pulls, quicker settles, faster response to name). Between sessions, I’m in your corner with email support and quick video tips so momentum sticks.
What to Bring to Classes:
I use reward-based, solution-focused, positive training methods. Bring a flat collar, a treat pouch, and lots of great treats for training. Puppies need two sets of vaccinations (kennel cough and rabies are not required) before joining group classes; until then, book Puppy Head Start in-home to begin safely.
Real World Success Stories
The Neudorf Family & “Stitch”
Nipping, biting, and jumping on the kids made playtime stressful. I started with doorway mat training, then taught a family game called “Puppy in the Middle”—each person called Stitch, waited for the automatic sit, rewarded, and passed the turn. With calm handling and gentle collar support to prevent nips, Stitch learned that quiet sits and soft interactions earn attention, and the jumping eased as the family practiced the new routine.
Tammi & “Sasie”
Sasie barked and lunged whenever the doorbell rang. We set her up for success with high-value food and introduced doorway mat training, rehearsing the full sequence with real doorbell rings. By the end of the visit, Sasie could remain on her mat while guests entered—quieter, focused, and ready to be rewarded for staying calm.
