Bree Featherstone

Jennifer Scheidt is amazing!   Our Harvey and I have learnt so much. We still have a ways to go, but she is very knowledgeable and was able to communicate the to do things in a way the made sense.

Thank you Bree. Such a pleasure working with you and Harvey.

Lando is the 4 month old golden retriever puppy depicted in the Grad picutres at Warman Dog Training. Recently, June 22, 2026, Lando & I completed Lando's Puppy Level 1 training with Jen and I couldn't be happier with the experience. Jen, the owner, did a fantastic job teaching me the proper techniques and fundamentals of dog training. Her knowledge, patience, and clear instruction gave me the confidence to work with Lando effectively at home.

Throughout the course, Jen provided valuable guidance that helped improve Lando's commands, focus, and overall obedience. I noticed a significant improvement in his responsiveness and behavior as the classes progressed.
One of Lando's favorite parts of each session was the first 15 minutes, where the puppies had the opportunity to socialize and even be introduced to swimming. It was a great way for the dogs to build confidence, have fun, and learn positive interactions with other puppies.

I highly recommend Warman Dog Training to anyone looking for professional, supportive, and effective puppy training. Thank you, Jen, for helping set Lando up for success!

Meet the Demo Team

  • You’ll often see my demo dogs—Tug-it, Mouse, Trap, Bowman, and Tilly—join classes.

  • The demo dogs demonstrate skills and tricks, and they show how positive reinforcement, combined with minimal verbal cues, helps our dogs clearly understand what we want from them.

  • The demo team will show you exactly how effective this gentle, reward-based approach to training can be.

  • My Dogs also love the playtime before classes. They meet new friends every week!

How We Work With Families

  • We begin with a brief intake question period before we begin working on positive solutions to your specific behavioural issues.

  • We coach with clarity: Including clear verbal and non-verbal cues and lots of positive reinforcement, using structure, routine, and consistent training techniques.

  • We keep momentum: With written recaps, homework you can keep up with, and check-ins between sessions

Puppies need two sets of vaccinations before joining group classes; until then, start with In-Home Puppy Head Start.

Real World Success Stories

The Neudorf Family & Stitch

Nipping, biting, and jumping on the kids made playtime stressful. We started with doorway mat training, then taught a family game called “Puppy in the Middle”—each person called Stitch, waited for the automatic sit, rewarded, and passed the turn.

With calm handling and gentle collar support to prevent nips, Stitch learned that quiet sits and soft interactions earn attention, and the jumping eased as the family practiced the new routine.

The dog is a multicolored Australian Shepherd with one blue eye, and is sitting on an orange bench. The woman is smiling, and the man is smiling with glasses.

Tami & Sassi

Sassi barked and lunged whenever the doorbell rang. We set her up for success with high-value food and introduced doorway mat training, rehearsing the full sequence with real doorbell rings. By the end of the visit, Sasi could remain on her mat while guests entered—quieter, focused, and ready to be rewarded for staying calm.

‍ ‍Treena B. & Pickles I highly recommend Jen from Warman Dog Training. She came to our home and did a private training session to help with my over excited puppy. It was such a great experience, I learned more in that training session then I did in a different six week puppy class I enrolled in, that was not with Jen. We can’t wait to get started with Warman dog training puppy classes, that allows your puppy to play!

Honestly in less than a week I see a huge difference in my puppy. I can’t think Jen enough for her care, help, training and sharing her knowledge. Even after the class was done I got a follow up email with some videos to watch.
