The Complete Headstart Puppy Training Package

Bringing a new puppy home is exciting, rewarding and challenging. The sooner the puppy learns clear boundaries and the expectations in its new home, the better. Booking an in-home new puppy headstart training session will get the puppy and its new family off to a great start. When it comes to shaping a confident, well-mannered family companion, the Younger the Better.

Our comprehensive Headstart Puppy Training Package is designed to get you started on the right paw. Combining the best of both worlds: personalized private coaching and essential group socialization classes.

Step 1: In-Home Private Coaching

We begin soon after the puppy joins its new family. During this one-on-one session, we tackle the immediate challenges that most puppies present. From mastering potty training routines and crate training to curbing puppy biting and destructive chewing, we help create calm behaviors and a peaceful environment which creates a great start to positive puppy training.

Step 2: Group Puppy Obedience Classes

Once the home foundation is set, your pup transitions into our lively group classes. Here, your puppy will learn to focus on you around other dogs and people. They will practice vital socialization skills, controlled play, and basic obedience commands like sit, down, recalls out of play, and loose-leash walking—all in a safe, supervised learning environment. Puppy classes are once a week for 5 consecutive weeks. Time allotment 1 - 1.5 hours.

Why Choose the Headstart Package?

The sooner you begin training and setting boundaries for your puppy the better. Book an in-home session as soon as the puppy comes home. We will give you homework and follow-up videos. When the puppy has completed 2 sets of vaccinations, your puppy is ready to start group puppy classes. This dual-approach ensures your puppy learns real-world manners in your home and continues to learn in a multiple dog environment. Don't wait for unwanted behaviors to become hard-to-break habits. Let’s start building your happy, obedient, confident dog today!

“Positive puppy training means if you don’t like what your puppy is offering—for example, jumping up— We teach an automatic sit instead of jumping up.”
