Introduction to Trick & Agility Classes
We start with your dog’s comfort, then build short, fun reps that make trying the most rewarding choice. You’ll learn clicker training timing, reinforcement placement, and simple progressions you can repeat at home. After each class, you get a clear recap and homework (training 3 times or more a day is ideal). Need help between weeks? We offer quick email support.
How Trick & Agility Classes Work
Our Trick and Agility classes begin with structured off-leash socialization, followed by warm-ups and skill review. Using clicker training to mark correct behaviours, we teach tricks in clear progressions, building from foundations like “Paws Up” to advanced skills such as skateboarding. As dogs advance, we combine multiple tricks together and even incorporate elements of dancing for added fun and creativity. Each course concludes with a showcase, including photos and video clips to celebrate your dog’s progress.
What to Bring to Trick & Agility Class
A hungry, energetic dog, flat collar, treat pouch with soft, high-value human-grade food rewards. For skateboard sessions, we supply the board. Cots & mats are provided for self-control training. Toys are also provided. Clickers are included in the class fee.
